A Delicious Fragrance Like A “Candied Rose Of Love”
A magical nectar with an intense, honeyed heart in which rose, the olfactory signature of the Trésor fragrance, becomes sweeter than ever before. “Trésor Midnight Rose is A COLOURFUL, UPBEAT AND JOYFUL FRAGRANCE… It embodies mischievous femininity: rose becomes playful, driven by deliciously tangy raspberry tones, wooden shimmers and voluptuous vanilla notes. This spontaneous, irresistible rose charms every thing in its path. IT’S A REAL SIGNATURE,” explains perfumer Anne Flipo, creator of this generous fruity floral. Like a mouth-watering candied apple, Trésor Midnight Rose could be a crisp, sweet “candied rose of love”, fruit of an unexpected encounter. From the very first moment, it’s love at first sight between deep, intense rose absolute and vibrant, bold raspberry. The caress of jasmine and peony meet fresh blackcurrant bud absolute and intense pink pepper. For the final touch of seduction, the drydown – Virginia cedar essence, vanilla and musk – warms up the floral notes in AN ABSOLUTELY ADDICTIVE AND MODERN TRAIL.
It’s the most romantic hour, just before midnight, when magic tints the sky a violet hue. It is the moment when anything is possible. An enchanted moment suspended in time, whose every nuance is captured in the facetted bottle of Trésor Midnight Rose. THIS RADIANT JEWEL, scintillating with multiple reflections, is dressed in a DELICATE AND VOLUPTUOUS GRADATION of powdery pink to violet… At its neck, a NIGHTTIME ROSE with satiny purple petals has just blossomed under the DIAMOND-CUT cap. A precious rose symbolizing passionate love.
Emma Watson - The Icon Of A Generation
English, but born in Paris, EMMA WATSON, who has just turned 21, incarnates the ROMANTIC HEROINE OF THE 21st CENTURY on the screen and in magazines. A unique and fresh beauty; Emma is a star in ascension. For millions of fans, she is Hermione. But she is so much more… The English press named her “Best-Dressed Woman in England” and “STYLE ICON 2011”. With her singular personality and “pretty preppy” look evoking 60s icons such as Twiggy and Jean Seberg, she incarnates a smart and stylish young woman with INCREDIBLE MODERNITY. As comfortable on filmsets as she is on the red carpet, she was nominated “Best Actress” at the 2011 Empire Awards for her performance in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” and was short-listed for the People’s Choice Awards. After earning the respect of her peers, she left her mark in the pavement of Hollywood Boulevard. A STAR IS BORN…
GRACEFUL, Emma is also a young woman of her time: creative, passionate, committed and concerned about the future of the planet. In fact, she recently designed her own ethical fashion collection. A FREE SPIRIT WITH STUNNING MATURITY, Emma Watson strives only to be herself. So it’s no surprise that she has become a role model for others. Without even trying. Millions of fans on Facebook and followers on Twitter keep up with her news each day, sharing the things she loves in the world around her. “SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME…” Emma recently tweeted and indeed she has a full year ahead of her. On her 2011 agenda, the film shoot of “Perks of Being a Wallflower”, directed by Stephen Chbosky, will take up her summer. As the lead actress, she will play Sam, the first love of Charlie, to whom she restores a desire to live. Not to mention two eagerly awaited films: “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” (the last opus) and “My Week with Marilyn”, in which she plays a stylist assistant, alongside Kenneth Branagh, Michelle Williams and Eddie Redmayne. For Emma Watson, perhaps the best is yet to come. Yet nothing seems to change who she really is, her true and private self. A young woman deeply anchored in her era. A woman who now offers Lancôme HER RADIANT SMILE, INTENSE GAZE AND ALL THE FRESHNESS OF BEING IN HER 20’S…
FILM JOURNAL
MARIO TESTINO, photographer and director, is behind the camera. Once again, he gets ready to reveal a new story of the Trésor woman. The title of the film written in black marker on top of the clapperboard: TRÉSOR MIDNIGHT ROSE. In the leading role of this film with its FRENCH NEW WAVE tones (entirely shot in natural settings), we discover the irresistible EMMA WATSON, who immediately brings to mind Jean Seberg from “Breathless” by Jean-Luc Godard. Her partner on screen? CYRIL DESCOURS, a young French actor with a promising career, seen in the last film by director Régis Wargnier, “La ligne droite”. A studious actor who graduated from the Conservatory and the Cours Florent and who has played many roles in films, theatre and television. His talent is only equalled by his incredible charm. He joins Emma Watson to form A REAL SCREEN COUPLE… Silence on the set, maximum concentration, emotion that you can almost feel: “Action!”
INTERIOR DAY. A contemporary loft that overlooks the rooftops of Paris at nightfall, when the air seems to glow with magic.
AMERICAN SHOT. The graceful bare back of a young woman appears in the field of the camera. With one gesture, she perfumes the nape of her neck, diffusing the scent of Trésor Midnight Rose. CLOSE-UP. The unknown girl turns around and suddenly Emma Watson’s face lights up the screen. Radiant.
WIDE SHOT. She quickly walks through the sitting room. Wearing high stilettos and a pale pink dress, she grabs a black Perfecto jacket and leaves the apartment.
EXTERIOR NIGHT. Saint-Germain-des-Prés, a city square, paving stones, an animated postcard. In an aura of indefinable charm, she walks through the immense entryway of the building and leaves behind her a mysterious violet aura…
PANORAMIC SHOT. A very Parisian neighbourhood café… A man comes in, holding a felt hat. He orders a drink. Looking in the mirror, he suddenly sees the reflection of an angel go by: Emma, or rather her furtive, hypnotic image enveloped in violet.
TRAVELLING SHOT. The young man rushes out and runs through the paved streets in search of her, but in vain. She has gotten away, leaving only lilac lights that illuminate their hide-and-seek now and later. The romantic race has begun, accentuated by this violet line that links the beauty to her suitor like a virtual trail of scent.
FLASHBACK. A small bookshop, like one that François Truffaut could have loved. Emma walks in, wearing a man’s hat with a violet rose. The bookshop clerk (we recognize the man from the café) looks up. She catches his attention and asks for a book. Intrigued, he finds it for her. The title? Midnight Rose. He barely has time to hand it to her before… Too late, she has already disappeared… leaving her hat on a pile of books. Like another princess who left a glass slipper behind. The man’s heart pounds in his chest…
FLASH FORWARD. Back to the city. He runs, still looking for her. In the distance he sees her entering a tiny paved lane… Two men are carrying a huge mirror. In the reflection, she smiles at him before disappearing again. The lover’s game builds in intensity. We hold our breath…
FLASHBACK INTERIOR DAY. A boudoir pulled straight from a young girl’s dream. Emma delicately puts down her bottle of Trésor Midnight Rose. Her nails are painted violet.
EXTERIOR NIGHT. 11:58 p.m. on the embankment of the River Seine, near the bridge called the Pont de la Tournelle. The man watches a small boat glide over the ribbon of water. A violet light flies away in the night… Disappointed and resigned to his fate, he seems to think that the beautiful stranger wearing the hat with a rose will remain a mirage, a sweet dream… He turns around to go home. And suddenly… Suddenly, Emma is right there in front of him. A tender, loving face-to-face. Eyes that understand each other. As if by magic, a gust of wind blows the hat off the boy’s head and onto Emma’s. Two luminous smiles light up the night. A Trésor Midnight Rose moment of absolute romanticism. But Emma is already gone…
FREEZE FRAME SHOT. The End. “It’s not the end,” replies Emma.
FINAL CLAPPERBOARD.
