Zalando sometimes doesn't allow you to order for a certain amount or up, if you haven't yet payed for your previous orders, whatever your reason may be. So a simple solution is to throw some articles out of the cart and to place the orders seperately for smaller totals.
2. Always use the return label from your account, never the ones they include!
Of course you need to hold on tight to the receipt your post office gives you when returning to Zalando. But if you stuck the return label on the box, that came inside it, you will no longer know which receipt belongs to which box, or even order, if you place a lot of orders and do a lot of returns. The better a costumer you are, the more risk! So I figured it's much safer to always print out a return label in your account, so at least you can link a lost order to the right receipt of the post office.
3. You can return without tags!
Yes, you can return clothes without tags to Zalando. I risked it with a couple of brand new dresses after months, for a total of 250 euros and got all the money back. Mind you they were in excellent condition.
4. You can ship everything in one box!
In your account you can select all the clothes you want to return and then put them in the biggest box together. If you've made your return label online, you can easily check your downloads in case you ever need to know which items you but in which box. I still don't know how people can prove which items they all put in those boxes. What if Zalando ever claims the item wasn't in the box or someone stole it out of it?
5. You can buy something on sale and return the item that wasn't on sale
If you see an item on sale, and you still have time to return yours, do it. Zalando does fake sales anyway, it's not like it's a big loss for them.
6. Even when returning with the online return label, keep the receipt and write down what is in the box

7. For safety, don't return different boxes at once
The more returns you do, the bigger the chance of things getting lost. I used to think it was safer, to spread the cost of the articles in case a box gets stolen, but I realised I couldn't keep track of all the receipts, and the smaller packages probably had a bigger chance of getting lost as well. I can see them slip right off the racks everywhere.
8. Return on the same day that you printed the return label
This is another tip to keep track of your returns. When you know when a return label PDF was downloaded in the Downloads on your pc or in your Zalando account, you can easily link it to your post office receipt.
9. Keep the tags, even though you like the clothes
You might love your new outfit, but sometimes money is tights and taste changes, and you wish you had the money back. Or sometimes we wear something and love it, but the next time we have a bad day and we associate it with the outfit, or it does seem to be too itchy, big, small or uncomfortable. So, always keep the tags, even though you can return without them. It's just more polite.
