Adrianne Palicki

Biography

Adrianne Palicki was born May 6, 1983 in Toledo, Ohio, to Nancy and Jeff Palicki. She graduated from Whitmer High School in Toledo in 2001. She didn’t take the stage in her first play until she was a sophomore at Whitmer High School, where she was named runner-up for homecoming queen. While in high school she played basketball and ran track. “I always wanted it act. It was always a dream of mine,” Annie says. “I didn’t get into theater until I was in high school, and then, once I got into it, I decided that I was not going to go to college, and I was going to take the money I had and move to New York. I went broke and went back to Ohio, and then I moved to L.A. Two years later, I started working.”

Adrianne appeared as Judy Robinson in John Woo’s unsold pilot, The Robinsons: Lost in Space (2004). Palicki also starred in the WB pilot Aquaman (2007) as the evil Siren, but the pilot was not picked up for series by the CW network, a result of The WB and UPN network merger, which occurred while the pilot was being filmed. Adrianne was a series regular on the first three seasons of NBC’s much acclaimed Friday Night Lights, portraying the character of Tyra Collette. In 2010, she returned for the final two episodes of the series.

Palicki also starred in Supernatural (2005) as Jessica Moore, Sam Winchester’s doomed girlfriend, killed by the demon, in its pilot episode. The character reappears in the Supernatural season 2 episode, “What is and What Should Never Be”, and the season 5 episode “Free To Be You and Me.” Palicki starred in Legion (2010) opposite Lucas Black. She made an appearance in the music video by Will.i.am called “We Are the Ones” in support of 2008 presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

Adrianne was cast as Toni Mason in the remake of the 1980s film Red Dawn (2011). She also starred in the movies Women in Trouble (2009) and Elektra Luxx (2010). In 2010, Palicki joined the FOX television drama Lone Star, which sadly was cancelled after two episodes, despite good reviews.

On February 16, 2011, it was announced that Adrianne was selected to portray Wonder Woman (2011) in David E. Kelley’s adaption for NBC.
